U.S. Debt and the Global Economy

Of course everyone is talking about how the shutdown, and not raising the debt ceiling is effecting our economy. In the 11th day still not much has been resolved even with the republicans push increase the debt ceiling. Here's an article talking a little bit about how the rest of the world is sitting and waiting to see what happen. Say we don't increase the debt ceiling, what do you all think would happen to the global economy, and do you think there is any other way to get around this other than and increase?

  1. I think only way to prevent a world crisis is to increase the debt limit. Republicans have realized this and are planning to increase the debt for six weeks. This shows that the only way out of thin mess is to increase the borrowing limit. I wish could see another way, out.
