  1. My real question is how can a bill that has been ratified into law be defunded in an attempt to block the legislation. I thought that once something is law, it has been decided that it is going into effect. I just am still in shock at the utter disregard that Washington has for the people of this country. It seems that winning is far more important to the two parties than actually having a functional government.

  2. This was not about the Health Care Act, which was a law and could not be legally "defunded." It was an attempt at a coup, an attempt to take down the government that we elected and replace it with the heartless, mindless dread-naught of the Tea Party Republicans. It cost our country billions that could have been spent for the good of our economy. It cost us our position in world economics.
